Project Brief
After more than a decade in electric RC, I finally took the plunge into NITRO! And this is the truck that enticed me enough to do so.

The Dominator is a 1/8 Scale Monster Truck powered by a .21 sized nitro engine. I don't really consider it a MT, but rather a nitro powered 4WD Racing Truck. This truck basically began life in OFNA as a buggy and then later as a MT called the Monster Pirate - but this latest incarnation is the most impressive yet.

Many of the Monster Pirate's weaknesses have been addressed - a stronger drivetrain with a steel spur, hardened diff gears housed in aluminum housings and a slipper clutch, Much stronger bracing, modified shock towers and longer shocks, etc. All these make the Dominator a very different beast from the truck that preceded it even though they may look similar.

I've had a wonderful time picking up the ropes to nitro with this truck, and I hope to fill this portion of my site with info I've learned as well as setup tips specific to this impressive rig.

Phases

	Phase II After some hard running and bashing, the Dominator has been put on steroids - beefed up to deal with the abuse that it suffers every weekend. Check out the mods!
