Setups Which didn't Work for Me
Setup One:
One simple setup I read about involved just mounting the lower links
on the inside of the chassis plates.
Setup Two:
Same as above but to put conical washers (spacers) to space the
axles outward.
Setup Three:
Inverting the lower links so they get closer toward the axles.
The
above setups experienced one or more of the following which were
unacceptable to me:
1. The lower mounting points at the axles would rub against the
axles.
2. The suspension geometry is poor. Causes the wheel to rub against
shock/chassis easily.
3. Using the stock mounting positions didn't work well since both
upper and lower links were of the same length. This resulted in
the gearbox tilting downwards which doesn't make for good handling.
