Phase I

A Little History...
I bought a Jugg2 when it was first released and modded it out with some GPM parts but when the TXT-1 came along I sold the Juggy because the TXT was basically the Juggy tranny on a superior platform.

When I put my Sassy A-1 up for trade though, this tuber Jugg2 was offered to me and I decided to go for it... Never had a tuber before and the fact that this frame was designed and built by Eric Beach of Team Tweaked sealed my decision.

Body pics

Here are some pics with an old body I had in the closet... doesn't look too bad so I'll probably go with a similar stadium-truck body for the final product. Look closely and you can see the custom servo mount and graphite steering link.

Original Suspension

Here are some pics from the previous owner (pic quality is poor) of how the truck *USED TO* look. It's how it came to me. Notice the setup of the suspension links - they extend out towards the axle ends. I was disappointed with this setup because it really didn't give much articulation at all. In fact, it had to be "forced" to get a pic like this.

On the right is another pic of the truck as I received it. Here the suspension link setup is clearly shown.Up and down movement of the axle was smooth, but twisting the axle was really stiff and tight. A previous owner of the truck told me it was one of the first prototypes for a Juggy chassis.

Modified Suspension

Pics of the truck now without the body. The suspension geometry has been totally reworked to an inverted upper link setup. Truck also has full ball bearings.
Second picture shows the front end of the truck - it features a custom servo mount and upper link mount with 4 different options for adjustability. The inverted upper link setup centres the axles better and allows for smooth suspension action. The front also uses traxxas sliders with Jugg2 yokes for durability. The servo is a futaba S9402 high-torque unit.

Third pic shows the rear-end of the truck with the custom rear-lockout. Heavy duty turnbuckles allow for easy toe-in adjustments. Losi shocks with Associated Emaxx springs provide the dampening. Also visible is the GPM Heavy Duty Universal that I'm using till I get parts to build another traxxas-slider. The inverted upper links allow for awesome articulation that's silky smooth. Check out the pic showing off the 12" of articulation. Note that this is from a short wheelbase truck with no wideners.
