Brief
Like it or hate
it, the T-Maxx from Traxxas pretty much started a revolution in
the MT world - and the Maxx sat at the top of it's class for a long
long time with it's superior suspension setup and innovative 2-speed,
reversing transmission. But of all the trucks designed as competitors
to the Maxx, I consider the SAVAGE the most worthy contender - and
hence the name "KAMPFER!"
The Savage has
drawn rave reviews since it's release - not just from magazines
(whose reviews may not always give the full picture), but from the
RC community in general. It features long travel suspension with
8 of the longest shocks in it's class (almost 7 inches!), a radical
new chassis design, a two-speed transmission with a beefy drive-train
and to top it of... a BIG BLOCK .21 engine!
The Savage is
my second nitro truck and will join my Dominator (see project
ZEUS) as my weekly gas-guzzling bashers. On this part of my
