My XXXT Matt Francis Edition
It's not exactly an MT, but it's still a cool truck!

One of my online MT buddies asked if I was forsaking MTs for something faster and more agile and the answer is a firm "NO!". The reason I bought this truck was cos MTs aren't supported by the LHS here and they are expensive to upkeep when anything breaks. As such, I wanted a basher that I could run hard without fear that there would be no parts support.

And besides, the truck is just way cool!

Building the car was really a pleasure. I've built a T3 before and this truck required less work because the parts were molded more precisely. I liked the way everything came together very smoothly! Since this is the Matt Francis Edition, all the cool hop-ups were included and the red-accents really added some eye-candy.

The truck is equipped with a 12x2 mod motor and an old Racer ESC I had lying around. Steering duty is handled by the speedy S9402 futaba servo and controlled by my trusty 3PJ.

I simply LOVE the fury body. It sets the truck apart from the boxy bodies in so many other stadium racers. Sure bodies have become much curvier now, but the fury breaks the rules and really looks sleek. I chose to reproduce the paint scheme of the MF truck and it turned out great!
