Brief
It's been a long
while since my last new truck... and even longer since my last electric
MT. For a while I was learning the ropes to nitro when I got my
Dominator and then the Savage. The speed and power of nitro is certainly
extremely addictive - and it's simply tough for electric trucks
to dish out similar fun - until now...
The Kyosho Twin
Force hasn't received much press and that's unfortunate. While it's
nitro brother - the MadForce - was plagued with design problems,
the Twin Force has seen many little improvements to fix those problems.
It's also much much lighter. Coupled with the fact that it has a
powerful 14.4v drive train, this truck really flies.
While trucks
like the TXT are awesome in their own right, the Twin Force is no
doubt the most impressive MT out of the box I have built and run.
It's fast and has loads of torque - and it handles amazingly well
for a 1/8 MT. Speed, light-weight, power... all sounded like a good
race package to me, so the aim of this project is to "breed"
the Twin Force into a dedicated off-roac racer.
